Elton John's Dream Ticket Takes Fans on a Musical Journey

MINNEAPOLIS -- Four DVD Set and Companion Dream Ticket Book Will Be Sold at Best Buy Stores Nationwide and BestBuy.com Beginning November 9

The much-anticipated Elton John four DVD set, Dream Ticket will be available November 9 exclusively at Best Buy stores and on BestBuy.com. Customers can pre-order the DVD set now on the Best Buy web site. Also on November 9, a companion book titled, Dream Ticket: Elton John Across Four Decades, will be released at Best Buy and BestBuy.com.

The four DVDs include rare concert material and behind-the-scenes footage to provide fans with a unique look at a true rock and roll icon. Lasting seven hours and featuring more than 70 songs, the set features three DVDs showcasing concerts at Madison Square Garden in New York, The Royal Opera House in London and The Great Amphitheatre in Ephesus, Turkey. Songs featured in the set include "Candle in the Wind," "Can You Feel the Love Tonight?," "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" with Billy Joel, "I'm Still Standing," "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me," "Your Song," and many more. The fourth DVD showcases Elton's four-decade career, including performances from the 1970s and 1980s, as well as more recent material. The four-DVD Dream Ticket set will sell for $39.99.

Dream Ticket follows on the heels of the 2003 four-DVD set from the Rolling Stones, Four Flicks. Sold exclusively at Best Buy, Four Flicks has been certified as the best selling music video, longform or boxed set, in U.S. history at 19 times platinum by the RIAA.

Best Buy and Elton John will celebrate the release of Dream Ticket with a launch event in Las Vegas on October 24. Best Buy also is conducting an instant-win game. One Dream Ticket boxed set will have a Golden Ticket placed inside. Whoever finds that Golden Ticket will be flown along with three friends on a private jet to Las Vegas to see Elton live at Caesars Palace and to meet Elton backstage. The winner will also receive two rooms at Caesars Palace for two nights lodging and $10,000 cash.

Elton John's career has spanned more than three decades and he is one of the top-selling solo artists of all time. He has won a wide array of industry awards including Grammys, Tonys and an Oscar and continues to add innovative work to his personal repertoire of 35 gold and 25 platinum albums.
