Business Wire, Oct 20, 2004
ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Computerworld magazine gave one of the information technology industry's top awards to Ann Arbor-based ForeSee Results. The magazine's "innovative technology awards" recognize technologies that represent substantial advancements and deliver measurable business value to customers.
ForeSee Results was nominated for the award by Kevin Ertell, who heads e-commerce at Tower Records. Mr. Ertell uses ForeSee Results' CS Site Manager product as a key tool for driving Tower's e-business development and strategy, and has produced substantial improvements in conversion rates and revenues since deploying the technology.

"The Computerworld award means a lot because it's based both on our value to our customers and on the expert judgment of the magazine's editors, who truly know technology," said ForeSee Results CEO Larry Freed.
Computerworld cited women's dancewear and activewear retailer Danskin as an example of a customer reaping a "gold mine" from ForeSee Results' system.
"What it really does is allow us in an analytical and scientific manner to learn what satisfies customers and what their needs, wants, and desires are in utilizing our website," Danskin vice president of sales operations is quoted as saying by the magazine. "We can see what changes we can make that will have the biggest bang for the buck."
"The winners of Computerworld's innovative technology awards exemplify today's most creative and original technology thought leaders," said Don Tennant, editor in chief of the magazine. "They should be congratulated for their ability to develop products that create new advantages and opportunities for both current and prospective Fortune 1000 customers."
The Computerworld recognition comes as sales and growth are booming at ForeSee Results. In addition to Danskin and Tower, the company serves a range of website types and company sizes, including DTE Energy, Cingular Wireless, Forbes.com, Hallmark Flowers, and Ask Jeeves.
