Clough Limited Selects Intergraph Process, Power & Marine MARIAN Materials, Procurement and Supply Chain Management System
Business Wire, Oct 22, 2004
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. -- Clough Limited, one of Australia's largest engineering firms, has signed a contract to purchase MARIAN(R) materials and procurement management software and services from the Process, Power & Marine division of Intergraph Corporation (NASDAQ: INGR). Clough is implementing MARIAN in all of its offices to support corporate risk reduction and new business development in the Asia Pacific, Middle East and other markets.
Simon High, CEO, Clough Services, said, "Intergraph MARIAN is positioned to play an important role in Clough's business initiative to provide integrated global collaboration systems for project execution. We anticipate MARIAN will significantly complement Clough's well-known logistical strengths. We are also looking to the future with MARIAN in that we are replacing in-house systems with what is increasingly recognized as an industry-standard product that will grow and develop with our company."
"Clough is unique among Australian contractors because of its capabilities to execute both onshore and offshore oil and gas construction. MARIAN helps add to Clough's business edge in this highly competitive environment," said Kevin Stanley, senior vice president, Intergraph Process, Power & Marine. "Clough now brings the number of MARIAN clients to three in Perth and makes a total of four in Australia, adding to the global track record of MARIAN as a leading commercial materials management and procurement solution."
