Anue Systems Provides Network Simulators to Storage Network World Interoperability Demo; Network Simulators Replace Fiber Spools in Backup & Recovery Demo
Business Wire, Oct 25, 2004
AUSTIN, Texas -- Anue Systems, the leading provider of Network Simulators for Delay and Impairment, will be providing its Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel and SONET products at no cost to the Interoperability and Solutions Demo at this week's Storage Networking World (SNW) Conference. The Interoperability Demo, sanctioned by the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA), is where industry-leading storage and networking vendors come together to build a networked solutions demonstration.
"We are thrilled to be an exhibitor and sponsor at this year's SNW show," said Hemi Thaker, President and CEO of Anue Systems. "In particular, contributing to the Interop Lab lets us work with products from many of our existing customers like EMC, HP, Cisco and IBM. We love helping them demonstrate their disaster recovery solutions."
The Theme Leader of this year's Backup and Recovery Solutions Area at the SNW Interoperability Demo, explained, "We were in a situation where we needed literally hundreds of spools of fiber to effectively simulate storage backup over distance. Instead, we chose to go with Anue's Network Simulators. With the Anue equipment, Interop participants can test delay easily over thousands of kilometers. This is of great interest to our members who are testing business continuity solutions over distance."
This year's Fall Storage Networking World Conference, October 25-28, 2004, is at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes Resort in Orlando, Fla. At the conference, Anue Systems will display a unique delay and impairment demonstration at its booth: #PP32.
