Jupitermedia's JupiterImages Division Launches Subscription Service For Comstock Images
Business Wire, Oct 27, 2004
NEW YORK -- JupiterImages, a division of Jupitermedia Corporation, (Nasdaq:JUPM) today announced that it has launched the Comstock 1700k Subscription Plan (www.comstock1700k.com), a new royalty free stock photography offering that is available on a paid subscription basis. This new paid subscription service complements the high quality, royalty free single image and CD offerings available from Comstock Images (www.comstock.com). Comstock 1700k Subscription Plan makes those same images available in resolution sizes up to 1.7MB on a subscription basis, with customers being able to download up to 50 images per day. The images available on the Comstock 1700k Subscription Plan are perfect for use on Web, multimedia, presentation, newspaper and small professional print pieces.
"We are excited to provide this new subscription offering to creative professionals who rely on Comstock Images," stated Alan M. Meckler, Chairman and CEO of Jupitermedia Corporation. "JupiterImages has demonstrated critical and financial success with our well known Photos.com subscription service. We believe that this "higher-end" Comstock 1700k Subscription Plan will provide a significant new revenue opportunity for our Comstock Images brand without impacting its present pay-per-download business," added Meckler.
