Business Wire, Oct 28, 2004
CHICAGO -- This week at the North American Spine Society annual meeting, Texas Back Institute and Management Technology Resources announced their newly formed joint venture, Spinemark Corporation. Spinemark has brought together leading experts in the field of spine to set up a national and international network of profitable, patient focused, "best in class" Spine Centers of Excellence that include programs for research, education and state-of-the-art patient care.
Dr. Stephen Hochschuler, Chairman of Spinemark, and co-founder of the Texas Back Institute, stated during the kick off reception at NASS that "Spinemark represents the combination of the two premier Spine Development Organizations in the US. It will address the number one growth industry in the orthopedic world: Spine."
Currently, through the resources of the joint venture partners, Spinemark already has 15 potential projects under consideration.
Marcy T. Rogers, M. Ed., President and CEO of Spinemark and Management Technology Resources, believes, "This collaborative effort offers the market place the collective benefits of the renowned clinical and research contributions of The Texas Back Institute with the business, marketing and planning services of MTR."
Spinemark is dedicated to providing the entire array of services that a physician group or facility might require being a spine center of excellence. They believe in partnering with their clients so as to maximize the return on investment for their shareholders, clients, and investors. They are patient, physician and consumer advocates that believe that the integration of clinical, business and research expertise will define the future of spine center development in the US and abroad.
The corporation will develop and invest in centers of excellence in the United States and consult with centers internationally. In addition, through affiliated organizations, Spinemark will address contracting, reimbursement and business services for spine centers as well as national research studies for operative and nonoperative care through a Spine CRO. Spinemark's focus on research will give patients the opportunity to benefit from the most advanced technology and state-of-the-art care available in operative and nonoperative spine care.
As Marcy Rogers announced during her presentation at the NASS event, "Spinemark's time has come!"
