Fastclick Named One of the Fastest Growing Technology Companies by Deloitte & Touche; Internet Advertising Company Displays 540% Revenue Growth in Three Years

Business Wire, Oct 4, 2004

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- Fastclick.com, Inc., a leading online advertising and services company, has been named a Rising Star in Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 program. The Rising Star award is a special designation for fast-growth technology companies that have been in business just three or four years and are part of the Los Angeles Technology Fast 50 program, which ranks the 50 fastest growing technology companies headquartered in the Los Angeles area. Rankings are based on the percentage of growth in fiscal-year revenues from 2001 to 2003.

Fastclick qualified as a Rising Star after showing revenue growth of 540 percent over the three-year period. Fastclick is just one of four greater Los Angeles-area companies to earn the Rising Star distinction.

"We feel honored to be named a Rising Star by Deloitte & Touche," said Kurt Johnson, Fastclick's Chief Executive Officer. "This award spotlights the remarkable job our Fastclick team has done in providing best-in-class media and technology services with the highest level of customer service."

"The Deloitte Rising Star companies have shown the strength, vision and temerity to succeed despite a very challenging technology environment," said Tim Lovoy, Deloitte partner, Technology, Media & Telecommunications practice, Los Angeles. "We applaud the successes of Fastclick and acknowledge their place as one of the very few to accomplish such a fast growth rate over the past three years."

To qualify for the Technology Fast 50 Rising Star program, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2001 and $1,000,000 in 2003; must be public or private companies headquartered in North America; and must be a "technology company" defined as owning proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues (using other companies' technology in a unique way does not qualify), and/or devote a significant proportion of revenues to research and development of technology.

Rising Star winners are automatically entered in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 program's Rising Star category. The Deloitte Technology Fast 500 program ranks North America's top 500 fastest growing technology companies based on revenue growth over five years (1999-2003). Its Rising Star ranking is based on revenue growth over three years (2001-2003). For more information on the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 or Fast 500 programs, visit www.fast500.com.
