InnoPath Names Jeffrey Clark to Board of Advisors; Vodafone Veteran Joins Growing List of Top Executives Supporting Industry Leader

Business Wire, Oct 4, 2004

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- InnoPath Software (formerly DoOnGo Technologies), the industry leader in over-the-air (OTA) mobile device software management, today announced the appointment of industry veteran Jeffrey Clark to its Board of Advisors. Clarks brings more than 14 years of international wireless and telecommunications experience from Vodafone, one of the world's largest mobile communications companies, to InnoPath's advisory board.

Clark most recently served as senior vice president of Vodafone Americas, Inc., overseeing the Vodafone Global Platform (VGP) and Internet Services group -- the group responsible for the design, development and deployment of platforms enabling the delivery of common data applications to Vodafone's operating companies. During this time, VGP successfully deployed these new platforms for Japan, enabling the first photo storage capability for Vodafone users. Clark also served as vice president of Vodafone Americas/Asia Region, where he was responsible for overseeing Vodafone's investments in the nine J-Phone companies in Japan, Shinsegi Telecom in Korea and two RPG Cellular companies in India. He also served as vice president of Vodafone U.S./Asia Pacific Region, where he gained responsibility for Vodafone AirTouch Satellite Service, Inc., following Vodafone's successful merger with AirTouch Communications.

During his tenure at AirTouch, Clark successfully managed a broad range of responsibilities in various U.S. and international executive positions, including vice president of satellite services and operations for AirTouch International and vice president of business development for AirTouch Europe. Prior to joining AirTouch/Vodafone, Clark spent more than eight years in various management positions at Merrill Lynch, J. Henry Schroder Corporation and Thomas McKinnon Securities, Inc. He has served on the Boards of several international wireless and telecommunications companies, including Japan Telecom, RPG Cellular, J-Phone Communications, Airtel Movil S.A., and Telecel Comunicacoes Pessois S.A., among others.

"New mobile phone features and applications are being introduced every day and carriers need to keep pace with these rapid advancements. OTA update-ready technology is the easiest, fastest and most cost-effective way to roll them out to consumers," said Clark. "InnoPath has established itself as the clear leader in this market through its commercial deployments. I am delighted to be a part of such an impressive organization as they prepare to expand their efforts into the U.S. and European markets."

"We are excited for Jeff Clark to join our advisory board," said Dr. Luosheng Peng, CEO and co-founder of InnoPath. "Jeff has a deep understanding of our customers' needs and proven international experience in the wireless communications industry. His extensive experience will be instrumental to helping guide us through the next stage of our development."
