Theglobe.com Announces Post Effective Amendment No. 1 to Their Registration Statement of Form SB-2 Declared Effective by the SEC

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Theglobe.com (OTCBB:TGLO) announced today that the Post Effective Amendment No. 1 to their Registration Statement of Form SB-2, relating to the potential resale of securities owned by certain stockholders, was declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission on September 30, 2004. The Post Effective Amendment was filed primarily to update the Registration Statement to reflect the recent acquisition of SendTec, Inc. Theglobe.com anticipates that it will be distributing the amended prospectus relating to the Registration Statement to such stockholders shortly so that resales may resume by such stockholders.
