Business Wire, Oct 5, 2004
NORTHBROOK, Ill. -- Business Technology Partners LLC, a Northbrook-based consultancy that helps small- to mid-market companies operate more efficiently through the application of technology, has announced a complimentary seminar for smaller suppliers that want to maximize profits through effective and efficient trade promotion management.
E[acute accent]According to Todd Perlman, principal of Business Technology Partners, the half-day seminar will focus on an affordable software solution that enables small- and medium-size manufacturers and suppliers to maximize profits from trade promotions by automating the necessary controls to halt discount abuses, enhance cash flows and profits and help facilitate Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. E[acute accent]Scheduled for Nov. 18, 2004, the complimentary seminar includes lunch and handouts for qualified attendees. Set for the Sofitel Chicago O'Hare Hotel, the program will start with a hosted continental breakfast from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., followed by a program of speakers and discussions, until 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., during which time lunch will be served. E[acute accent]In addition to Perlman, seminar speakers will include: Steven M. Spiegel, CFO, Forkless Gourmet; Gavin Verreyne, software developer, SYSPRO; and Kevin Bell, business development representative, SYSPRO. E[acute accent]The latter two individuals will discuss how SYSPRO worked with Business Technology Partners and Forkless Gourmet to develop an affordable trade promotion management for SME manufacturers and distributors that sell products through retail outlets. They will demonstrate the solution and the ways in which it automates deductions management, complex pricing and multi-tier credit checking. E[acute accent]Spiegel will discuss his search for a trade promotion and deductions management solution that would provide Forkless Gourmet with the functionality and controls needed to successfully launch and market a new product. Spiegel, who attributes much of the growing success of Forkless Gourmet to the SYSPRO TPM solution, will describe how Forkless Gourmet uses the software to administer complex pricing and trade promotion strategies, manage credit risk associated with industry consolidation, enhance invoice accuracy and efficiently capture, manage and settle customer promotions and trade deductions. E[acute accent]Space at the seminar is limited, so interested persons are urged to call Business Technology Partners immediately at 847-205-5015 to secure a reservation.
