Former Sony Brand Strategist Launches Strategic Brand Execution -TM- Consultancy; Denise Lee Yohn to Focus on Translating Brand Strategy into Operational Reality -TM-
Business Wire, Oct 5, 2004
SAN DIEGO -- Denise Lee Yohn, the former vice president, corporate marketing, for Sony Electronics Inc., announced today the launch of a new brand consulting practice that carries her name. Yohn, a 15-year marketing and advertising veteran who has worked on global brands such as Sony, Burger King, Land Rover, Marsh & McLennan Companies, Jack In the Box, and All laundry detergent, designed her consultancy to help clients activate and execute their brand strategies.
"I bridge the gap that often exists between a company's brand strategy and the reality of its business operations," Yohn pledged. "Having worked on the client side for many years, I know how frustrating it can be to engage a consulting firm or agency to develop a visionary brand strategy, only to be left without concrete action steps for implementing it. I help my clients achieve real business results and growth by operationalizing their brand."
Denise Lee Yohn's services include Brand Marketing -- formulating clear, step-by-step marketing plans for establishing, maintaining, and growing the brand; Brand Alignment and Integration -- activating the entire organization to embrace and execute the brand promise; and Brand Expression and Communications -- developing platforms and tactics which bring the brand to life at all touchpoints.
"I've met with many clients who are looking for someone who can help drive their strategy home," says a partner with a global consulting firm. "They would welcome someone who has a proven track record of successfully navigating the complex dynamics of a major corporation."
Yohn works with clients in retained consulting relationships or project-based assignments. She can be embedded in a client team, collaborate with a client's existing resources, or tap her network of expert partners to form a full-service team. Her services also include workshops, facilitation, and speaking engagements.
"I provide companies with the expertise of a seasoned brand strategist and the executional know-how of someone who has been on the frontlines," Yohn explains.
