Silicon Valley Basketball Shootout Set to Benefit Positive Coaching Alliance

Goldman Sachs and Silver Lake Partners are hosting a 3-on-3 round robin basketball tournament on Sunday, September 12, 2004 in Leavey Center, Santa Clara University to benefit Positive Coaching Alliance, a national non-profit working to transform youth sports. PCA offers workshops nationwide for coaches, parents and youth sports leaders to equip them to positively impact today's young athletes. (www.positivecoach.org). The 32-team field will include tech companies, investment banks, private equity funds, media and service firms. In addition to the tournament, this family-oriented event will include lots of activities for kids, including a free throw shooting contest, pick-up basketball games and interactive games.
