J.D. Power and Associates to Release Results from the 2004 New-Home Builder Customer Satisfaction Study

WHAT WILL BE RELEASED?
1. A nationwide release showing industry improvements will include
customer satisfaction rankings of the top three builders in 25
different markets, the nine factors that drive satisfaction
and the overall satisfaction index scores in each of the
markets. The press release will be distributed by Business Wire.
2. Twenty-five market releases will include top-to-bottom rankings
of the builders in each market, the nine drivers of customer
satisfaction and market index scores. Distribution will be via
e-mail to selected media in each market and by request.

BACKGROUND: The study, which measures customer satisfaction with
new-home builders, has been expanded to 25 U.S. markets in 2004 (21
markets were sampled in 2003). The 2004 study includes responses
from more than 64,500 new-home buyers.

IL; Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX; Denver/Colorado Springs, CO; Detroit,
MI(a); Ft. Myers/Naples, FL(a); Houston, TX; Jacksonville, FL(a);
Las Vegas, NV; Minneapolis, MN; Orlando, FL; Palm Beach, FL;
Philadelphia, PA; Phoenix, AZ; Raleigh/Durham, NC; San Francisco Bay
