Business Wire, Sept 14, 2004

PITTSBURGH -- Lou Dobbs has become the media voice for Americans struggling to change our nation's trade laws. Each night, Lou Dobbs speaks out forcefully and relentlessly against sending American jobs offshore. Through fifteen months of broadcasts, Lou Dobbs has been instrumental in bringing fair trade and temporary work visa issues to the forefront of public debate, and has presented a clear and thoughtful insight into trade issues. Lou Dobbs has had the courage to explain how and why the American middle class is being compromised.

We are therefore very pleased to announce that Lou Dobbs will be accepting the "Person of the Year Award" from the following members of the Jobs & Trade Network: The Organization for the Rights of American Workers; MADe IN USA; Manufacturing Association of Southern Connecticut; Greater Bristol (Conn.) Chamber of Commerce; Manufacturers for Fair Trade; Save American Manufacturing USA; New England Springmakers and MetalStampers Association; Connecticut Tooling and Machining Association; Manufacturing Alliance of Connecticut; and, the United Steelworkers of America.
