S1 Partners to Address Hundreds of Financial Institutions at Catalyst 2004; IBM, CheckFree, and Market Leading Companies Sponsor Premier Industry Event

ATLANTA -- S1 Corporation (Nasdaq: SONE), a leading global provider of integrated front-office applications for financial institutions, today announced that more than 30 companies are sponsoring Catalyst 2004, the Company's fifth annual customer conference. Catalyst will be held September 20-23, 2004 at the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort. This year more than 550 representatives from hundreds of financial institutions of all sizes from around the world will gather at Catalyst to gain greater insight into industry issues, technology trends, and innovative solutions from S1 and its partners. The 2004 conference features more than 120 sessions as well as more workshops, networking events and free product training than past events.
This year's Platinum sponsor, IBM, is introducing a general panel session entitled "The Best of the Best Take Center Stage." The panel will feature S1 customers that have received S1's 2004 One View Customer Excellence Awards for outstanding technology and customer interaction achievements. During the Market Leadership track, IBM will share a retail banking study recently completed by IBM's Institute for Business Value. The interactive session will provide insights into the forces of change, key initiatives and focus areas that can act as value-add differentiators in the financial services industry. IBM is also sponsoring the S1 Customer Appreciation evening event at Studio 54. S1 and IBM have been strategic business partners since 2000. The companies jointly sell and market the S1 Enterprise solutions and collaborate on the integration of these solutions with IBM middleware and hardware for financial services providers worldwide.
