PivX Solutions Announces Master Reseller Agreement For North American Consumer Market; Deal Will Introduce PivX to World's Largest PC OEMs

Business Wire, Sept 16, 2004

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. -- PivX Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB:PIVX), the leader in next generation host-based intrusion prevention software for the Microsoft Windows enterprise security market, announced that a master reseller contract has been signed with Detto Technologies to be the exclusive North American reseller for the consumer market, including PC OEMS, and the retail channel.

Detto, a leading provider of migration technology for consumers and small businesses, and well-known for its award-winning PC-to-PC and PC-to-Mac migration products, has direct relationships with the world's leading PC OEM manufacturers, and will market PivX's Qwik-Fix Pro in that channel.

"After migrating to a new PC, security is a user's number one concern, and PivX provides a truly unique solution," said Larry Mana'o, CEO of Detto Technologies. "Our PC OEM customers put a premium on security, and we are excited to bring them PivX's technology."

Qwik-Fix Pro, PivX's flagship product, is the most advanced tool for protecting Microsoft(R) Windows-based desktops and servers from worms, viruses and other malware. Qwik-Fix Pro safeguards PCs from falling victim to the next worm or virus before vendor security patches become available, avoiding the typical scramble to test and deploy patches.

"We are excited about the opportunity to sell Qwik-Fix Pro to the major OEMs through Detto's proven relationships," said Rob Shively, CEO of PivX. We have chosen to work with Detto in the consumer market because of their track record, and their OEM reach and resource capability."
