Former PricewaterhouseCoopers Telecommunications Subject Matter Expert Joins NISCO; Frank Culkin joins NISCO Leadership Team
Business Wire, Sept 2, 2004
FAIRFAX, Va. -- NISCO has named former PricewaterhouseCoopers telecommunications subject matter expert, Frank Culkin, as Vice President of Account Management. In this role, Frank will focus on developing strategic product enhancements to meet the requirements of enterprise wide cost management.
Frank has served in various leadership roles with industry giants such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Qwest Communications, LCI, and MCI. While at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Frank was directly responsible for the analysis and optimization of operational and network costs for all types of telecommunications carrier clients. As a result of thorough analysis, Frank provided recommendations for cost reduction, revenue assurance and network optimization initiatives with an overall annual savings in excess of $180M. Frank quickly gained recognition as an operational and network cost management expert and has been a guest speaker for numerous industry events.
"I am excited to welcome Frank to NISCO's leadership team", said NISCO CEO Sundeep Sanghavi. "His proven success with cost management initiatives combined with his strength in operational and network optimization, will add tremendous value to product offerings."
Prior to PricewaterhouseCoopers, Frank served as a Director at Qwest Communications where he implemented the redistribution of underutilized ports resulting in nearly $20M in incremental revenue. While managing over $250M worth of facilities cost on a monthly basis, Frank generated over $284M in task savings alone.
"One of the greatest challenges I encountered throughout my work in the industry was the successful management of manual invoices", said NISCO VP of Account Management, Frank Culkin. "NISCO's mBill(TM) platform eliminates the challenges associated with the management of those invoices. mBill(TM) gives companies greater visibility to all of their invoices, enables detailed analysis, increases detailed level reporting and identifies optimization opportunities."
The ability to manage costs effectively is rapidly becoming a top priority for key executives. With Franks experience, NISCO has the ability to apply proven revenue assurance and cost management processes and methodologies to its mBill(TM) platform in order to solve real business needs.
