Samsung Electronics Chooses Harman Multimedia for Award-Winning Audio Solutions; New Samsung Televisions Come Equipped with World-Class JBL Sound

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. -- Harman Multimedia (NYSE:HAR), a leading provider of audio products for computers, portable digital music players and now televisions, today announced its partnership with Samsung Electronics, a leading developer and global manufacturer of high-definition television (HDTV) technologies. The partnership will enhance Samsung's award-winning flat screen televisions with JBL's world-class audio brand.
Samsung chose JBL to provide world-class audio systems for Samsung products that are already known for their remarkable screen performance and stylish designs. The products include Samsung's plasma televisions in screen sizes ranging from 42-inch to 70-inch, LCD televisions in screen sizes ranging from 22-inch to 54-inch, and 50-inch DLP projection televisions.
