SAN FRANCISCO -- Customer Advisory Board Panel Will Present at Plumtree's Sixth Annual User Conference, Odyssey 2004
Enterprise Web leader Plumtree Software (Nasdaq:PLUM) today announced that six top customers will join Plumtree's 2004-2005 Customer Advisory Board (CAB) at Plumtree's annual user conference Odyssey 2004. Plumtree's Customer Advisory Board is a steering committee of leading customers that meets regularly to recommend product developments, partnerships and company strategy to ensure long-term deployment success and continued deployment success for Plumtree customers. Airbus, Alcoa, American Medical Response, Best Buy(a), Pioneer Natural Resources, Thomson Corporation and Weyerhaeuser join existing board members, Defense Finance Accounting Service (DFAS), Pratt & Whitney, Staples and Starbucks. Members are chosen based on the innovation and strength of their Plumtree deployment, as well as their ability to represent a broad cross-section of Plumtree customers.
"Many companies have advisory boards as a gesture, but Plumtree genuinely embraces the board, consistently taking our input and applying it to product and company strategy," said Robert Moreland, 2003-2004 Customer Advisory Board President and project manager at Duke Energy. "When Plumtree says that customer success is its core company value, they really mean it."
At Odyssey 2004, slated to draw over 850 customers, partners and prospects this year, Pumtree's Customer Advisory Board will share their deployment experiences and insights as part of the opening day keynote. For the past two years, the CAB panel has been the highest rated session based on the killer application ideas and tactical best practices shared by this premier group of customers. Odyssey 2004 will be held in Hollywood, Florida from October 11th through the 14th and will feature over 72 sessions in six tracks led by customers, partners, and Plumtree product experts, complete with a wide range of customer-led industry roundtables.
