Paymentech Wins Pro Golf International Payment Processing Agreement
Business Wire, Sept 28, 2004
DALLAS -- Pro Golf International, which operates 120 golf clothing and equipment franchise stores throughout the United States, Canada and Europe, has awarded a contract for payment processing to Dallas-based Paymentech. Pro Golf International, based in Farmington Hills, Michigan, said they signed with Paymentech because of its level of customer service and the caliber of its technology, along with the added value their franchisees will receive from being part of the Pro Golf/Paymentech program.
In addition to credit and debit card processing, Paymentech will provide advanced online reporting tools and consolidated financial data for both payment card and gift card sales. Paymentech will process more than $100 million annually in card volume for the stores.
"We went with Paymentech because we knew they could help us migrate to faster technology, consolidate our reports, deliver them online, and provide the kind of technology that's going to grow with our business. In addition, we knew that Paymentech would provide the kind of customer service and attention to our franchisees that would help them grow their business well into the future," said Jerry Jensen, Vice President, Pro Golf International.
The franchised stores were formerly processed by Fifth Third Bank.
