Business Wire, Sept 28, 2004

MONTREAL -- Mindready Solutions Inc. (TSX: MNY), a leading supplier of innovative solutions for test and embedded systems serving high-growth vertical markets, announced today an order from a major optical component manufacturer to deliver a customized burn-in test system for laser transmitters.

Mindready's burn-in and life-test technology will be customized to test optical laser component functions at high temperatures and over a wide temperature range, a critical feature to insure design and manufacturing quality of state-of-the-art tunable lasers which are used for telecommunications applications.

"The key benefits of working with Mindready in this kind of project are our high level of flexibility to adapt our technology to each customer's specific needs while keeping the costs competitive. Furthermore, since this particular customer was already familiar with our technology from previous contracts, they will reap many collateral benefits in terms of training, maintenance and spares," said Claude Delage, President and CEO of Mindready Solutions.

"We have developed several modular test technologies that can be easily customized to test even the most complex products. In addition, clients appreciate that our systems are able to test several components simultaneously," added Mr. Delage.
