Compushare and Wausau Financial Systems Partner to Provide Secure Solutions; Technology and Consultative Partnership Complements Solution Capabilities
Business Wire, Sept 7, 2004
SOUTH COAST METRO, Calif. -- Compushare, provider of information technology, consulting and implementation solutions for community financial institutions, has partnered with Wausau Financial Systems (WFS), provider of payment processing solutions.
WFS customers will benefit from Compushare's system hardening services that are designed to address security issues relating to integration of WFS solutions into their corporate infrastructures. Additionally, Compushare will make its complete enterprise-wide security assessment services available to WFS customers, and offer WFS' enterprise biometric authentication and single sign-on solutions to its customers.
"Organizations are challenged with increasing numbers of applications requiring authorized access and escalating pressure for tighter security," said Tom Nohelty, EVP of operations with WFS. "We've partnered with Compushare to meet the requirements of our customers, and to complement the high levels of expertise and service our customers expect. Their experience, combined with a consultative knowledgebase, follows our philosophy of teaming with partners focused on the highest quality and service available."
When end users have to commit to memory multiple usernames and passwords they may resort to using 'weak' passwords or writing them down resulting in a potential security threat. WFS' Single Sign-on application provides a solution reducing this concern.
"Hundreds of community financial institutions trust Compushare to provide consultative expertise and to identify and implement technology solutions that match their specific needs and goals," said Romir Bosu, president of Compushare. "Based on our experience and on the trust our clients have with us, Wausau Financial Systems has looked to us to supplement its check imaging solution through our Security Assessment and System Hardening solutions, enabling the firm to offer even greater breadth and depth of service to its customers."
