Jacobson Executive Search Places COO at First Nonprofit

CHICAGO -- Jacobson Executive Search has placed Stephen Siemer as the Chief Operating Officer at First Nonprofit Insurance Company in Chicago. This announcement brings an end to the nationwide search undertaken jointly by the property and casualty insurer dedicated to the nonprofit community and the Chicago-based national executive search firm that serves the insurance, financial services and related industries.

Reporting directly to Phillip R. Warth, Jr., First Nonprofit's CEO, Siemer will direct all day-to-day home office activities and will also provide strategic vision and insight into all core insurance operations, including underwriting, claims, marketing, and finance.

Siemer joins the specialty insurer with 25 years of experience in multiple facets of the insurance industry. In his most recent position, he served as Vice President, Corporate Information at CNA Insurance Company of Chicago. His extensive background also includes experience in roles such as Vice President, Financial Projects; AVP/Eastern Region Controller; Manager, Information Development and Design; Senior Financial Analyst; and Senior Auditor. Siemer received his bachelor's degree at the University of Illinois in Urbana. He also holds his CPA.
