Global DocuGraphix Acquires Denver-Based National Graphics Company
Business Wire, Sept 8, 2004
CHICAGO -- Acquisition adds additional strength to Global DocuGraphix's role in the print industry
Global DocuGraphix Inc., a leading Chicago-based document management and graphics services company, announces that Aug. 24, 2004, it completed its acquisition of National Graphics Company. Founded in 1975, NGC, is a Denver-based print distributorship that sells a complete line of products and services, including business forms, forms management, envelopes, storage/distribution, promotional products, commercial printing, printed binders and E-commerce solutions.
"We are very pleased that National Graphics Company has joined the Global DocuGraphix family of companies," says Alan Bratton, president and chief executive officer of Global DocuGraphix Inc. "It is a profitable company that brings a key print marketplace and the capability for us to reach new customers in a large region of the country, including Colorado, Idaho, Utah and Arizona. Additionally, it provides Denver-based coverage for our current customers that have facilities in the area."
NGC has more than 300 customers including large national companies in the telecommunications, energy and insurance industries, to name a few.
The same account management team that helped bring NGC to its key position in the print industry will run the company, including five sales professionals with 58 years of combined service at NGC and two customer service representatives with 21 years of combined service at the company.
NGC will be located in the same office as another Global DocuGraphix company, GDXdata, a Denver-based information and data management services company formerly known as Document Imaging. The move will unite the print side of the business with the document imaging side, creating cross-selling opportunities.
"In addition to bulk warehousing, the facility will provide large pick-and-pack customers with a strong set of services," adds Graham McClean, co-founder of Global DocuGraphix Inc.
Other nationally known Global DocuGraphix companies include: PTM Document Systems in Santa Rosa, Calif.; and TopForm Software Inc., in Norcross, Ga.
Global DocuGraphix Inc., the premier resource for Everything Business(TM), is a leader in the consolidation of business products and business printing independents.
