id-Confirm, Inc. Announces Pilot Program in Bulgaria
Business Wire, April 1, 2005
DENVER -- id-Confirm, Inc. (OTCBB:IDCO) today announced it has entered into an agreement with Inner Circle Logistics, Inc. of St. Louis, Missouri for an active pilot program using a biometric component in a net-centric supply chain infrastructure to enhance productivity and transportation effectiveness among trading partners crossing regional borders as well as helping private businesses to achieve higher capital efficiency ratios.
This program is intended to demonstrate id-Confirm's biometric identification, authentication, and security products in a real-time environment where the security aspects of positive identification at national border crossings and SME locations is critical. Integration of this technology into a net-centric environment should add a new dimension of sharing the positive identification among trade participants through integration into a wide range of corporate and governmental reporting mechanisms.
Working relationships in this program, scheduled for April in Bulgaria, include Motorola EAD Bulgaria of Sofia, Bulgaria and Neology Corporation of San Diego, California, among others. Motorola is providing its Canopy product and Neology is providing passive RFID's for the integrated program.
