Symantec CEO to Deliver Industry Leader Presentation at Storage Networking World

CUPERTINO, Calif. -- Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq:SYMC), the global leader in information security, today announced that John W. Thompson, Symantec's chairman and chief executive officer, will deliver an Industry Leader Presentation at Storage Networking World on Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at 10:45 a.m. Storage Networking World is being held April 12-15 at the J.W. Marriott Desert Ridge Resort in Phoenix, Ariz.

In his address, "Breaking Down the Barriers: Building the Resilient Infrastructure," Thompson will talk about the importance of creating a balance between information security and information availability. He will also discuss how the industry needs to evolve to help customers build a resilient infrastructure, one that remains up, running and growing, no matter what happens.
