VeriSign (NASDAQ:VRSN) has completed its acquisition of LightSurf for $270 million in stock. LightSurf is a global leader in multimedia messaging and interoperability solutions for the wireless market. The company`s technology enables mobile subscribers to exchange pictures, video, and other forms of multimedia content.
VASCO Data Security (NASDAQ:VDSI) announced on Wednesday that it has expanded its indirect sales network in the U.S. by signing up six new resellers. VASCO`s new resellers will sell VASCO Digipass Packs to companies looking to protect their corporate network with VASCO`s security products.
Immucor`s (NASDAQ:BLUD) shares rose sharply on Wednesday after the company reported strong results for the fiscal third quarter and upped its guidance for the rest of fiscal 2005 and 2006. Revenue for the quarter was up 36.3% to a record $38.0 million. Net income for the third quarter was $0.14 per share, versus $0.04 during the same period a year ago.
