Mxi Technologies: Aloha Airlines Completes Integration of First Boeing Enterprise One Maintenance Software Modules
Business Wire, April 21, 2005
SEATTLE & OTTAWA -- Boeing (NYSE:BA) and Mxi Technologies today said that Aloha Airlines completed integration of several modules of Boeing's Enterprise One maintenance software system into its maintenance operations and has turned off its legacy system.
Aloha Airlines is using Enterprise One for configuration management and maintenance tracking for its fleet of Boeing 737-200s and Next-Generation 737-700s. Enterprise One helps airlines enhance fleet utilization, decrease maintenance costs and increase employee productivity.
"Aloha is delighted to have gone live with the Enterprise One system," said Earl Sepulveda, director of Maintenance Support at Aloha Airlines. "Enterprise One is a tremendous asset to our engineering and technical records group, and both the product and the implementation teams have surpassed our expectations. We look forward to continuing implementation of other Enterprise One modules."
Boeing Commercial Aviation Services offers Enterprise One in cooperation with Mxi of Ottawa, Canada, which provides several modules of Mxi's Maintenix software product.
"Aloha Airlines is the first company to go live with the Enterprise One system provided by Boeing and Mxi Technologies", said Doug Brouse, Mxi Technologies CEO. "This has been a very successful project, and we are confident that Enterprise One will become a leader in the airline maintenance management software marketplace."
"Aloha Airlines is leading the way in using Enterprise One to decrease maintenance costs," said Jerry Smith, Director Maintenance Services, Boeing Commercial Aviation Maintenance Services. "This tool is one of many that Boeing is developing to answer to its customer's needs."
Aloha Airlines began its Enterprise One project in January 2004. The project completed on schedule and within budget. Aloha plans two follow-on phases of Enterprise One system implementation: One that will implement the maintenance execution tools included in the Line, Heavy, and Shop Maintenance modules, and another that will implement the Materials Management module, including demand management, material fulfillment, warehouse management, and procurement functionality.
