Business Wire, April 27, 2005
SEATTLE -- Aventail Corporation will showcase its SSL VPN market leadership at NetWorld Interop 2005, taking place in Las Vegas, May 1-6, 2005. Aventail is a flagship sponsor of the first annual SSL VPN Day, a special one-day workshop focused on SSL VPN technology and future trends. For the third year in a row, Aventail organized and will host the SSL VPN Pavilion at NetWorld Interop.
"SSL VPN is no longer an emerging technology, and our attendees have told us they want to learn more about the benefits of this critical secure application access platform," said Lenny Heymann, NetWorld Interop vice president and general manager. "Based on the high interest level from attendees, we created the first annual SSL VPN Day at NetWorld Interop. We are pleased to work with Aventail, which is a pioneer and market leader in the SSL VPN space."
SSL VPN Day is an intensive workshop designed to educate conference attendees on the full range of security services an SSL VPN deployment can deliver. SSL VPN Day takes place on May 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Breakers G in the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
The SSL VPN Pavilion features leading technology companies in the SSL VPN industry, including AEP Networks, Array Networks, Aventail, Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd., Citrix, Eicon, Juniper, and Nortel. Located in Booth 811 in the Security Zone, the Pavilion provides conference attendees a one-stop-shop on remote access issues, solutions and future trends.
In addition to the booth and product demonstrations, company executives and industry analysts will give special presentations throughout the three days on the latest advancements in SSL VPN technology and products. Aventail's Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder Chris Hopen will be a featured speaker on VoIP on Wednesday, May 4 at 3:30 p.m.
Aventail executives will be attending the conference and will be available to speak with press and industry analysts on a number of technology and market-trends.
