Metrologic's Subsidiary Licenses SwiftDecoder Software to Adobe Systems Incorporated

(NASDAQ-NMS:MTLG), experts in optical image capture and processing solutions, who design, manufacture and market worldwide sophisticated imaging and bar code scanning solutions for a variety of applications announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary Omniplanar, Inc. ("Omniplanar"), an imaging software company, has licensed its SwiftDecoder(TM) software to Adobe Systems Incorporated. Omniplanar's proven two-dimensional (2D) barcode technology is being used by Adobe to support the Adobe Intelligent Document Platform.
