Business Wire, April 6, 2005
LAS VEGAS -- Solution simplifies process to capture, store and print electronic signatures
Datacard Group, the world leader in secure ID and card personalization solutions, today introduced the Datacard(R) Tru(TM) signature solution at the ISC West Conference and Exposition. This fully integrated solution includes everything needed to capture, store and print electronic signatures on secure photo ID cards.
"Now it's easy for corporations, colleges, universities and government agencies to add another layer of security by quickly capturing users' signatures electronically and incorporating them into photo IDs," said Mike Schnaus, vice president of marketing and corporate development for Datacard Group.
The signature pad connects easily to a laptop or desktop computer via a USB port. It allows users to see their signature as they sign using the attached writing stylus. The Tru signature software helps ensure swift and accurate digital capture.
"Integrated with either Datacard(R) ID Works(R) identification software or Datacard(R) ViaNet(R) identity information software, the Tru signature solution makes it easy to manage and control the entire signature database, eliminating the need for repeat signature capture," said Schnaus.
