Adobe Press Updates Classroom in a Book Series With Creative Suite 2 Titles; Best-Selling Series Redesigned in Full Color and Enhanced With Insider Tips
Business Wire, April 8, 2005
BERKELEY, Calif. -- Today Adobe Press announced its Classroom in a Book series of titles based on Adobe(R) Creative Suite 2 (CS2), the powerhouse software package containing all-new versions of Adobe Photoshop(R), Adobe InDesign(R), Adobe Illustrator(R), Adobe GoLive(R), plus the recently released Adobe Acrobat(R) 7.0 Professional. Adobe Press' classic Classroom in a Book series debuted in 1993 and has since been translated into more than 20 languages and sold over 3 million copies worldwide. Now in color for the first time, these practical workbooks offer a rich and dynamic experience for readers being trained on the new CS2 software applications.
"The Classroom in a Book series has been wildly popular, inspiring readers and instructors for years to get the most out of their Adobe software applications," said Kelly Ryer, Adobe Press Editor. "We are excited to debut the fresh color interiors and know that the redesign will offer an even more rewarding experience."
Developed with the support of Adobe product teams to accompany Adobe software (software sold separately), the redesigned books now include insider tips from the experts such as Adobe's Sr. Creative Director Russell Brown. Each book offers complete, self-paced lessons designed to fit within busy schedules and includes a CD-ROM with customized files to guide readers through the lessons and special projects, sample test questions from Adobe's certification exam, instructional videos, and more.
With this launch, Adobe Press is debuting the Adobe Creative Suite 2 Classroom in a Book, an introduction to the CS2 applications with expert advice for using the programs together efficiently. The complete CS2 Classroom in a Book series by the Adobe Creative Team includes:
