Track Data's Track ECN Adds Lime Brokerage as a Takeout Subscriber

Business Wire, August 1, 2005

BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- Track Data Corporation (NASDAQ: TRAC) today announced that its Track ECN (Market Participant ID: "TRAC") has added Lime Brokerage LLC as a takeout subscriber. Previously, Lime Brokerage had been a supplier of liquidity to Track ECN, but not a taker. The signup comes as Track rolls out its "Hit us First!" advertising campaign, which trumpets its new pricing policy that allows traders to take away liquidity from its book for only $2.50 per thousand shares.

"Track ECN had always been about the generous rebate for adding liquidity--$2.70 per thousand shares that we could pass right back to our customers," said Alistair Brown, CEO, of Lime Brokerage LLC "Now Track ECN is focusing on the other side of the book, lowering its takeout fee to $2.50. When you do the kind of volume we do, that savings adds up to real money in a hurry."

"We knew we had to get Lime to start taking more liquidity," said Joe Schultz, Vice President of Track ECN. "Lime was the perfect test case for our new pricing policy--they need a venue that can handle extremely high volume, give them great executions, and save them money. We're happy to have them at Track ECN. . .on both sides of the book."

When you send your order directly, Track ECN will first sweep its book, charging you $2.50 per thousand shares for the liquidity you take. Then, if Track ECN needs to route out part or all of your order, the ECN will charge you $3.00 per thousand shares routed out.
