Wizzard Software Provides the Voice ''Response'' for VoiceGate Corporation Emergency Alert System with AT&T Natural Voices for Server

Business Wire, August 10, 2005

PITTSBURGH -- Wizzard Software (OTCBB:WIZD) announced today that VoiceGate Corporation has licensed AT&T's Natural Voices TTS SDK for Server to incorporate into their emergency message alert system, aptly named "The Emergency Response." VoiceGate Corporation, founded in 1978, is an innovative leader in the voice processing, call logging and instant wireless messaging industry. VoiceGate is a privately owned Canadian Corporation with its head office and design facility located in Markham, Ontario, and offices in the United States and India.

"We needed a robust TTS engine that could function in the most arduous environments. We needed a TTS engine that would function flawlessly when the chips were down - when every second counts," said Paul Perryman, President of VoiceGate Corporation. "The TTS engine we needed would have to deliver messages clearly in as high quality available to people who are in the middle of a crisis or clearing down an emergency. Wizzard's offering of AT&T Natural Voice fit the bill."

VoiceGate chose AT&T Natural Voices for deployment in "The Emergency Response", a mass message delivery system that helps Emergency Management team members, such as Emergency and Business Continuity Planners, pre-load, test and have on standby a system that is ready to deliver different messages to different response groups given the nature of the event. The system delivers messages through standard telephone lines and in text format to e-mail ready devices.

For example, if there is a power failure, the Business Continuity Planners can type the message they want delivered, send it to the server, and launch the dialing campaign. Powered by AT&T Natural Voices, The Emergency Response will then "speak" the database of contact names, addresses and phone numbers, and e-mail addresses, notifying all first responders. While the system is delivering the first message, it's possible to type in a different message as a follow-up. It also has the ability to call and get responders to update their personal contact information. Server-based emergency response systems are useful in a variety of industries where a quick response is imperative, such as police services, public safety, health care facilities, manufacturing facilities, or home land security.

"VoiceGate's extraordinary system demonstrates the versatility and reliability of AT&T Natural Voices for Server," said Danielle Lewis, Marketing Director for Wizzard Software. "When human interaction is a necessity and intelligibility is a requirement, AT&T Natural Voices is an excellent choice."
