DataFlux Co-Founder and CTO Named to InfoWorld 'Innovators to Watch in 2006' List; Scott Gidley Recognized for Leadership and Vision in Data Quality Technology
Business Wire, August 10, 2005
CARY, N.C. -- DataFlux, a leading provider of data quality integration solutions, today announced that Scott Gidley, co-founder and CTO of DataFlux, was named as one of the InfoWorld "Innovators to Watch in 2006." InfoWorld, a publication focused on technology trends and news, announced five visionaries, including Gidley, to the list of technologists who are anticipating future market demands.
Under Gidley's direction, DataFlux has designed an industry-leading platform for data quality integration solutions that analyze, improve and control business-critical data across disparate sources. The most recent product release, the DataFlux Data Quality Integration Solution, Version 7.0, added a service-oriented architecture (SOA), helping companies extend the reach of data quality standards throughout the enterprise.
According to an article published in the August 1, 2005 edition of InfoWorld, "Gidley's upgrade provides the kind of on-demand SOA and real-time processing on which businesses will increasingly rely." InfoWorld's annual Innovator Awards program identifies the top technology innovators whose work has directly impacted the evolution of the IT world.
"Scott and his team have worked extremely hard to deliver a dynamic, fully-integrated data quality and data integration solution to the market," said Tony Fisher, president and general manager of DataFlux. "This award recognizes the excellent work of our entire development team in providing a comprehensive data quality and data integration platform that can help improve the fundamental quality of corporate information."
The DataFlux Data Quality Integration Solution helps companies enhance the visibility and viability of data quality standards and practices throughout the enterprise. The solution is designed specifically to create business rules - and propagate data standards across applications - helping build a single, unified view of enterprise information.
