Pet Supermarket began as Pet Circus over thirty years ago in South Florida and was owned and managed by Charles West, who still owns the chain today. West states, "I'm extremely proud of the growth we've seen. The expansion can be attributed to the hard-working team of employees here who love Pet Supermarket. They take pride in their stores."

Diane Holtz, President and COO, adds, "Our mission for continued growth has been simple: to do all we can to improve the health, welfare and happiness of our customers' pets. We also pride ourselves on superior customer service, knowledgeable associates and low prices. This mix, along with our established relationships with vendors and suppliers, have all helped us grow."

Pet Supermarket traditionally opened most of their stores in Florida with about two-thirds in the sunshine state. But in the past ten years the chain has expanded into states such as Georgia, Alabama and North Carolina. Steve Feinberg, Vice President, who has been with the company almost thirty years states, "It's an exciting time for us. We've opened stores in Tennessee, Alabama, California and we're looking at Virginia and South Carolina in the future."

Pet Supermarket is headquartered in Sunrise, Florida. Each conveniently located store offers more than 8,000 pet products at competitive prices. Pet Supermarket employees pride themselves on customer service, knowledge and concern for pets. Their motto is: "At Pet Supermarket you can have a healthier pet for less."
