AirDefense Appoints Industry Veteran David Gagne as Vice President of Business Development; Gagne to Provide Expertise and Focus to Leading Wireless Intrusion Prevention Solution Provider

ATLANTA -- AirDefense, the leader in anywhere, anytime wireless security, today named David Gagne as the company's new vice president of business development. In this role, Gagne's primary responsibility will be pursuing strategic alliances and partnerships for AirDefense in targeted markets, evaluating new pipeline products and technologies, and expanding leadership within the wireless security industry. Gagne brings more than 20 years of sales management and business development experience to AirDefense.

David Gagne most recently served as vice president of sales at Engim, where he managed sales and business development efforts for the wireless technology company. Gagne joined Engim after holding sales and executive management positions for various technology companies, including T-Networks, Tioga Technologies, Actel and Sharp. David received his BS in General Science from the University of Rochester, majoring in Optical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science and Mathematics.
