In the Gartner report, "Business Intelligence Software Market Grows 12 Percent in 2004," Business Objects commands more than 20 percent of the BI software market, based on new license revenues of $427.2 million in 2004. Overall, the Gartner report shows the BI market continues to produce significant growth, with new license sales in 2004 increasing 12 percent to more than $2.1 billion.
