Identrus Appoints Jonathan Buckley Executive Vice President of Product and Operations; Trusted Identity Solutions Provider Expands Executive Team to Support High-Growth Business Initiatives

Business Wire, August 24, 2005

SAN FRANCISCO -- Identrus(TM), a global provider of trusted identity solutions, today announced the expansion of its executive management team with the appointment of Jonathan Buckley as Executive Vice President of Product and Operations. With a proven track record at high-growth organizations and more than 15 years of experience, Buckley will be responsible for integrating the professional services, operations and product management functions within Identrus to meet the growth requirements for the company in the years to come.

With the ever-growing threat of identity fraud, trust in online transactions continues to erode. Unlike other identity management solutions that provide only a minimum level of protection, Identrus is the only regulated, worldwide provider of two-factor identity authentication. In Buckley's role as Executive Vice President of Product and Operations, he will continue to ensure that Identrus sets identity management standards for financial institutions, businesses, government entities and consumers.

"As the identity market grows and our market potential expands, Identrus needed a seasoned, results-oriented executive to drive our company to the next level," said Karen Wendel, CEO of Identrus. "Jonathan's strong management track record, technical background and proven product management experience made him the ideal fit for this key position in the company. I welcome Jonathan to the Identrus team."

Buckley joined Identrus from McDATA Corporation, where he most recently held the position of Vice President, Software, Services and Solutions for this publicly traded networking company. At McDATA, Buckley led the company's software business in revamping multiple product lines and introducing new product strategy, outbound marketing and business development activities, ultimately showing result in the form of 50% year-over-year business segment revenue growth during his tenure.

"I am very impressed with the Identrus model and the overall opportunity," said Jonathan Buckley. "I see tremendous potential in delivering the company's industry-leading solution to businesses facing the real challenge of keeping up with security and identity threats. I look forward to leading the company into an expansion across other verticals and into a new phase of continued growth and accomplishment."

To get started, you need to know what you really want from work, then orient your political moves toward those goals. It all starts with strong relationships and helping others; those people in return make up the support system that helps you realize your goals. Here’s how it’s done.
