Ingram deployed Manhattan Associates' Warehouse Management and Performance Management solutions and the Audit Payment and Claims component of its Transportation Management solution. With these solutions, Ingram is filling orders to booksellers more quickly and helping publishers reach a wider, increasingly diverse customer base more efficiently. Ingram better utilizes the space in its DCs, optimizing its transportation network and more consistently monitoring and evaluating performance.

Audit Payment and Claims automates freight invoice payment and reconciliation by internalizing payment processes, auditing carrier invoices in detail and generating carrier claims. With this tool, Ingram has eliminated the manual review and assessment of each bill, increasing speed and accuracy in freight invoice processing. Performance Management, an automated business intelligence tool, draws data from the other solutions and provides real-time graphical reports for effective business analysis at the management level.
