Wedbush Morgan Securities Registers Amended Form 144 for Tarrant Apparel Group

LOS ANGELES -- Wedbush Morgan Securities Inc. ("WMS") announced that the Form 144 amended filing for Tarrant Apparel Group Inc. (NASDAQ:TAGS) that was registered on August 12, 2005, was filed incorrectly by WMS. The amended filing was intended to cancel the original Form 144 filed on behalf of the Company's Chairman, Gerard Guez, to sell 275,000 shares of stock dated on August 1, 2005.
Mr. Guez had no intention of selling shares at that time. WMS registered a Form 144 amended filing with the SEC on August 19, 2005, reflecting 0 shares to effect the proper cancellation of the original filing.
