ASRC Management Services Awarded Career Development and Knowledge Sharing Contract for NASA's ILDP

GREENBELT, Md. -- ASRC Management Services (ASRCMS), an SBA Certified 8(a) Alaska Native Corporation (ANC) headquartered in Anchorage, AK with its primary business office in Greenbelt, MD, has been selected by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to provide Career Development and Knowledge Sharing services for Agency engineers and program and project managers. The support services will be provided through formal classroom, e-learning, and cutting-edge knowledge sharing forums, activities and publications.

ASRCMS will provide these services for the NASA Chief Engineer's Integrated Learning and Development Program (ILDP), charged with supporting the development of individual engineers, project managers, project teams and intact NASA projects and programs at every level of the Agency and across all Centers. ASRCMS will provide expertise in areas such as risk management, cost containment, schedule maintenance, and high-performance team development to ensure best practices and mission success. In addition, ASRCMS will benchmark and promulgate best and emerging engineering and project management practices across the government, industry, academia, and the private sector.

The maximum value of the contract is a total of $49 million including the base year and four one-year options. This contract combines several existing Agency engineering and management programs (i.e. the NASA Academy of Program and Project Leadership and NASA Engineering Training) to form the Integrated Learning and Development Program. Supporting ASRCMS in this effort will be DTI/Haverstick, Inc., of Arlington, Va.
