Business Wire, August 31, 2005
LOS ANGELES -- Global wireless entertainment publisher JAMDAT Mobile Inc. (NASDAQ:JMDT) announced today that Indianapolis Colts receiver Marvin Harrison and Carolina Panthers quarterback Jake Delhomme have been selected as cover athletes for JAMDAT's 2006 line-up of NFL-licensed mobile games. JAMDAT SPORTS NFL 2006 launched to coincide with the start of the professional football season.
"Marvin Harrison ranks as the most productive receiver in the Colts' history, and quarterback Jake Delhomme led his team to the Super Bowl in 2003," said Mitch Lasky, Chairman and CEO of JAMDAT Mobile Inc. "Their passion for the game and their talent and achievements on the field make them ideal cover stars for JAMDAT SPORTS' NFL products."
Harrison is the only NFL player with 100 receptions in four consecutive years (1999-02). He has averaged 6.1 receptions per game (845 in 139 games) over the course of his career, the best average in NFL history, and ranks seventh in NFL history with 845 receptions. After just 31 regular season starts, Delhomme ranks second all-time in Carolina history with 48 touchdown passes. In Super Bowl XXXVIII, Delhomme's passer rating of 113.6 was the second highest for a quarterback starting his first Super Bowl.
Game availability for JAMDAT SPORTS NFL 2006 depends on individual phone model and wireless carrier. For specific information, JAMDAT's Game Finder is available at www.jamdat.com.
