UC Irvine Extension Offers Online Project Management Certificate Program; Students Offered New Opportunities to Build Industry Credentials, Articulate to a Master's of Science at the University of Wisconsin

IRVINE, Calif. -- UC Irvine Extension is offering its Project Management Certificate Program in a completely online format, providing access for professionals worldwide to gain the educational training needed for career advancement. UC Irvine Extension enhanced its program in response to the rapidly growing project management field and need for professionals in diverse industries - from real estate construction and finance to manufacturing and technology - to manage mission-critical projects on time and within budget.

As a global charter member of Project Management Institute (PMI), UC Irvine Extension's online program fulfills the growing need for professionals to gain the latest tools, techniques and processes to achieve project success - regardless of its scope or complexity. Certificate graduates leave equipped with the knowledge to sit for the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification exam and an opportunity to transfer their credits toward a master's degree at several universities including the University of Wisconsin at Platville and Capella University.

The Project Management Online Certificate Program includes comprehensive curriculum that covers the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and features courses on Project Management Principals and Practices, Leadership and Team Building, Earned Value Project Management, Project Monitoring and Controlling, Cost Management and Capital Budgeting and Managing Business Process Improvement Processes.
