Business Wire, August 31, 2005
ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- CALIBRE, an employee-owned management and technology services company, today announced that it has donated $25,000 to the American Red Cross 2005 Hurricane Relief Fund to assist victims of Hurricane Katrina.
William E. DePuy, Jr., CALIBRE's President & Chief Executive Officer said, "As all Americans and the world are now aware, Hurricane Katrina has left a calamitous swath of destruction across the southeastern United States bordering the Gulf of Mexico. Devastatingly hard hit are the states of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and parts of the Florida panhandle, with incredible damage to the major cities of New Orleans, Biloxi, and Gulfport as well as numerous smaller coastal cities and towns across the region. As we have in the past, we encourage other companies and individuals to help those in need by making financial contributions to organizations that can effectively assess and apply resources where they are needed the most."
