Charles Beard Joins Mercer Management Consulting's Aviation, Aerospace & Defense Practice

NEW YORK -- Charles Beard has joined Mercer Management Consulting as a Director in the firm's global Aviation, Aerospace & Defense practice. He will lead the consulting firm's Washington, DC operations.
Beard is an expert in systems development and enterprise transformation. His work at Mercer will focus on crafting winning strategies for major commercial aerospace companies and assisting with corporate transformations in the changing commercial and military marketplace. He comes to Mercer from BearingPoint, where he was Senior Vice President for Global Transportation and Industrial Markets. Prior to that, he was a partner with the Aerospace and Defense unit of KPMG and a Space and Missile Operations Officer in the U.S. Air Force.
Mercer's Aviation, Aerospace & Defense consulting practice helps passenger and cargo carriers, OEM and parts manufacturers, aerospace and defense, and MRO and other service providers develop value growth strategies, improve operations, and maximize organizational effectiveness.
