ERF Wireless Inks Deal to Offer Nuvio VoIP Services throughout its Wireless Broadband Networks

Business Wire, August 4, 2005

LEAGUE CITY, Texas -- ERF Wireless (OTCBB:ERFW), a growing provider of wireless broadband products and services, announced today that it has chosen Nuvio's private label VoIP program to begin deploying VoIP advanced voice communications services to its customers in most of its existing wireless broadband networks as well as in the networks that the company is currently acquiring. As a part of its voice services offering, ERF Wireless has chosen to enroll in the Nuvio Private Label Partner (PLP) Program and offer VoIP service to residential and business customers through Nuvio Voice and Nuvio nPBX products. This approach allows ERF Wireless to immediately deploy VoIP services with no significant capital or operating costs. It also allows ERF Wireless to focus its attention on sustained expansion of its network and revenue base without being distracted with the implementation of a separate VOIP infrastructure.

ERF Wireless is in the early stages of an aggressive business plan targeted at building and/or acquiring wireless broadband networks throughout a large portion of the country. This growth strategy is focusing on providing Internet, voice, security, and video monitoring services to enterprise-class, commercial, and residential customers located in the largely underserved non-urban areas of the U.S.

"Our nPBX hosted IP-PBX product makes perfect sense for ERF Wireless, since a part of their customer base is composed of the ideal audience -- small to medium-sized businesses," commented Jason Talley, president and CEO of Nuvio Corporation. "As a wholesale VoIP provider, we can offer our reseller partners the opportunity to deliver reliable next-generation phone services to their customers, while allowing them to profit from a new stream of business."

R. Greg Smith, CEO of ERF Wireless, noted that, "ERF Wireless will offer the Nuvio Voice VoIP solution for our residential customers and target small to mid-sized enterprise and business customers through the nPBX product. The relationship with Nuvio is a perfect solution for ERF Wireless since we are focused on the rapid expansion of our existing network footprint and the growth of our recurring revenue base. With the stable and fully proven VOIP solution provided by Nuvio, ERF Wireless can extend its footprint much faster while providing cost-effective, high-quality services that are extremely competitive."
