The Houston Chapter of the American Marketing Association Tackles Web Marketing in Technology Special Interests Group Seminar Scheduled for August 16

HOUSTON -- On August 16, AMA Houston's Technology Special Interests Group presents "Web Marketing: Love Story or Tragedy?" The seminar, open to all interested marketing professionals, will discuss how to harmonize technology and marketing by using the web as a stage for your marketing messages.

Panelists include:

--Terry Miller, professor of Web Design for Kaplan University;

--Steve Latham, founder and CEO of Spur Digital; and

--Tara Mermis of BMC Software's Web Content & Client Services team.

Also included will be discussion on how to design a web site, how to measure and understand its effectiveness, and how to reach beyond the bounds of your web server to effectively communicate.
