BindView and Tata Consultancy Services Announce Strategic Alliance to Bring IT Security Compliance Solutions to Market

HOUSTON & NEW YORK -- BindView Corp. (Nasdaq:BVEW) a global provider of IT security compliance solutions and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BOMBAY:TCS.BO)(NSI:TCS.NS), a leading global technology services firm, announced today a strategic alliance expanding both companies' partner programs. Through terms of the alliance, BindView and TCS plan to bring to market IT security compliance solutions that combine TCS' strength in security assessment and services with BindView's product strength in compliance and vulnerability management. TCS intends to offer these services in conjunction with its eSecurity Consulting Services and IT security compliance offerings.
TCS plans to utilize BindView's Compliance Center and bv-Control product portfolios to perform comprehensive assessments of customer environments to determine their IT security compliance posture. TCS also expects to begin developing new security compliance consulting lines based on BindView compliance and vulnerability management products. TCS consultants have been trained on BindView products and are actively engaging BindView in their Security Audit and Managed Services accounts.
