uReach Technologies Names former MCI CIO James L Zucco Jr to its Board of Directors, Expands Management Team; Saul Einbinder named as Senior Vice President Marketing and Business Development

Zucco, chief executive officer of Corente, to its board of directors, effective immediately. A long-time telecommunications industry executive as well as a venture capitalist, Zucco brings a stellar track record in active board and investment roles that will help uReach accelerate its growth as a key player in the market for Voice over IP (VoIP) and converged communications services.

In addition to Mr. Zucco's appointment, uReach announced that Saul Einbinder is joining its management team as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. In that role, he will help shape the strategic direction of the company relative to key global markets, product and offer definition, and business partnerships.

About Jim Zucco

Jim Zucco has over 25 years of executive experience in the software and telecommunications industries. Formerly chief information officer (CIO) for the MCI Corporation, Zucco is a founding board member (and currently CEO) of Corente, a global provider of on-demand application delivery and management services. As Sr. Vice President of Product Development and CIO at MCI, Mr. Zucco is credited with architecting and leading the development of MCI's market-leading virtual networking products, as well as the much heralded Friends and Family(SM) and was a key member of the team that created the Concert joint venture with BT. Zucco held executive positions at AT&T, where as vice president and general manager he and launched its application hosting and Internet businesses; Lucent Technologies, where he led the North American carrier business, and Shiva Corporation, where he executed a strategy that achieved profitability in 18 months.

Zucco has also served as general partner at Blue Rock Capital and as Executive-In-Residence at venture capital firm Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield and Byers. He presently serves on the boards of directors of dynamicsoft and NetSolve (NASDAQ: NTSL). Zucco holds an M.B.A. from Loyola College and a B. A. from Western Maryland College .

Mr. Einbinder comes to uReach from Evident Software, where he served several key senior leadership roles in Marketing and Operations and was instrumental in architecting the successful revenue growth of that company. Prior to joining Evident, Einbinder held technical and management positions at Lucent and AT&T, where he led strategic and technical initiatives in converged voice/data solutions, video conferencing, and optical networking.
